Where things stand today

Layer does not earn a commission from any link today. Deal Finder in the app is not yet connected to any retailer or affiliate network, and the guides on our website contain no affiliate links.

If that changes

We plan to work with fragrance retailers, directly or through affiliate networks. When we do:

• Affiliate links will be labelled where they appear, in the app and on the website, and this page will list the networks and retailers we work with.
• It costs you nothing. If you follow an affiliate link and buy something, the retailer may pay Layer a small commission. The price you pay is the same.
• Recommendations stay independent. Your daily pick and layering ideas come only from the bottles you already own, their notes, the season, the weather and the occasion you choose. They never depend on whether we could earn a commission. Deal Finder shows retailers by price, not by what they pay us.
• Prices come from retailers and can change at any time. The retailer's own website shows the final price, and any purchase is between you and the retailer.
• Retailer cookies. When you follow a link to a retailer, that retailer or its affiliate network may set cookies on its own website to record that you arrived from Layer. Their privacy policies apply there.

Layer is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any fragrance house or retailer.
